Hello, My name is Lyle Stokes. I build Blackhorse Custom fishing rods. I built my first rod in 1983, and have been building rods since. My need for something I couldn't buy is the reason and the pleasure of building them and catching fish on them continues today. I am committed to building you a fishing rod that is not only funtional but one that you will be proud to use and show other fishermen and women. My wife and I fish catfish tournaments along with my sons, brother and nephew. We know what it takes to have a rod that stands up to the test of big water and large cats. I am constantly trying to improve the quality and buy parts in mass amounts to save you the client some cost.
